Jerilyn Jones was an extraordinary woman who valued integrity, honesty, trust, and hard work. She had a strong code of ethics and displayed altruism in how she supported other Black/African American women and her community. Jerilyn was an advocate for others and often spoke up with an admirable fierceness.
Jerilyn was special to many people and was immensely loved by her family and friends. She advocated for Black/African American women who were looking to advance their careers and find a supportive community, mentors and sponsors in the sports industry. Jerilyn also had an unstoppable commitment to breaking down unconscious biases and anti-racism. Her perseverance was honorable.
