WISE Los Angeles Celebrates Gabrielle Clark: Recipient of the "In Memory of" Jerilyn Jones Scholarship

  

We're excited to announce that Gabrielle Clark has been chosen as the recipient of the "In Memory of" Jerilyn Jones Scholarship, established by the Women in Sports and Events (WISE) Los Angeles Chapter. Gabrielle's outstanding achievements and unwavering commitment to the sports industry truly set her apart.

A Chicago native, Gabrielle's sports journey began with a diverse range of activities before her focus on tennis. Excelling at Emory University, she claimed three NCAA tennis titles and made history as the first African American woman to win an NCAA singles title in tennis.

Driven by her passion for sports and strategic mindset, Gabrielle embarked on a journey with the LA 2028 Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, where she currently serves as a Senior Manager of Strategic Venue Planning. Her educational background, including an MBA from UCLA Anderson and a Bachelor's Degree from Emory University, highlights her dedication to growth.

As the scholarship recipient, Gabrielle will receive:

●      A one-year professional scholarship from WISE LA

●      Complimentary access to WISE LA events

●      Exclusive participation in the WISE Within Mentorship program

●      Informative interviews with industry leaders and WISE LA Board Members

Gabrielle embodies WISE's mission to empower women in the sports business. The "In Memory of" Jerilyn Jones Scholarship takes this mission further, creating opportunites for talented individuals like Gabrielle to thrive.
